Kennedy Vision Health Center (KVHC) is thrilled to share our commitment to sustainability by integrating environmentally responsible practices into the services we offer.
Our staff recently attended Vision Expo, which gave us the opportunity to collaborate with brands that align with our goal of promoting sustainable practices in eye care. We met many other practices and retailers with a similar mindset, and we’re pleased to announce two major labels that are joining our lineup of products: Shwood™️ and We Love Eyes.
As we move forward, we will continue to focus on collaborating with retailers who align with this vision. We will continue to offer eyewear and products that meet the same high standards for style and function we’ve set so far, but also those who are concerned about issues of raw material sourcing and sustainability.
Shwood™️: Stylish, Sustainable Frames
We have introduced a new frame line from Shwood™️, a brand known for its commitment to sustainability. Shwood™️ utilizes plant-based materials in their products, ensuring that each frame is thoughtfully made and fully biodegradable. They source their materials responsibly, using (and re-using!) raw materials like flower petals, seashells, mushrooms, mint leaves, stone, marble, and various types of wood.
Shwood™️ eyewear has a unique look that other labels find difficult to replicate. This is because of their warm, nature-inspired designs, which vary in color and texture. Each pair of frames is lovingly handcrafted, and no two pairs are the same — meaning you can rest assured that your personal pair will be a staple that uniquely reflects you.
Shwood™️ frames are stylish, durable, and unique, offering a variety of designs to suit diverse tastes. They are a great addition to our collection, reflecting a balance between contemporary style and sustainability. KVHC also offers the convenience of online ordering for Shwood™️ frames, complete with free shipping, making the shopping process easier for our customers. They even use recycled chipboard for packaging, reinforcing their dedication to eco-friendly practices.
We Love Eyes: Gentle and Eco-Friendly Eye Care
We are also proud to feature products from We Love Eyes. This cosmetics company specializes in eye care products that are gentle and made from all-natural ingredients. Including We Love Eyes in our product catalog allows us to present more options for holistic eye care that aligns with our sustainable initiative. Their products give our customers access to eye and wellness care that is both effective and environmentally friendly.
Their products include the Tea Tree Eyelid & Eyelash Foaming Cleanser and Makeup Removing Oil, both of which boast natural, non-toxic ingredients like chamomile tea, tree oil, jojoba oil, and grape seed oil. These are gentle on the eyes and skin and are also biodegradable. Their Lashfull Thinking Lash + Brow Follicle Oil uses castor oil as its primary ingredient, which promotes thicker hair and is great for the environment.
We Love Eyes consciously avoids the use of harmful chemicals and preservatives, emphasizing a cruelty-free and vegan approach in their formulations. Additionally, their commitment to eco-friendliness extends to their packaging — they use kraft paper and other materials that are recyclable to minimize waste. This meticulous approach towards sustainability makes We Love Eyes a go-to choice for those seeking effective eye care solutions that align with a green lifestyle.
