Dr. David Kennedy, O.D.

Dr. David Kennedy is an accomplished optometrist and leader who co-founded Kennedy Vision Health Center in 1974. Ever since, Dr. Kennedy has remained committed to bringing top-rate, family-friendly care to Plymouth and Otsego, MN.

Dr. Chase Eder, O.D.

Dr. Chase Eder has been a valued Optometrist at Kennedy Vision Health Center since June 2022. A Rochester native born and raised in the heart of Minnesota, Dr. Eder pursued his undergraduate studies at the University of Minnesota before following his passion for optometry at The Ohio State University. After meeting his fiancé during undergrad, the couple set their sights on the Twin Cities as the ideal place to build their future. When the opportunity to join Kennedy Vision Health Center arose, it felt like the perfect match, allowing Dr. Eder to combine his professional goals with a community he already cherished.

Dr. Eder’s journey into optometry began with a dream—quite literally. During his junior year of high school, he dreamed of working as an optometrist at his local eye clinic. Inspired by this vision, he shadowed his optometrist and quickly realized his calling. The excitement and fulfillment he experienced that day solidified his decision, and he hasn’t looked back since.

In his practice, Dr. Eder finds joy in every aspect of the field. From improving patients’ vision and providing relief for ocular discomfort to connecting with individuals from all walks of life, he takes pride in making a positive impact on the lives of those he serves. He has a particular interest in ocular disease management, focusing on ocular surface diseases. Dr. Eder is passionate about this area because he understands how profoundly these conditions can affect a person’s quality of life. Through compassionate care and expert management, he helps his patients regain comfort, confidence, and clarity.

Outside of the clinic, Dr. Eder and his fiancé are eagerly planning their wedding for June 21, 2025, and settling into their first home. The couple enjoys exploring Minneapolis, indulging in the city’s diverse culinary scene, and visiting local breweries. They are avid hikers and travelers, with aspirations to visit all of Minnesota’s state parks and as many U.S. national parks as possible. Dr. Eder’s passion for life, both professionally and personally, shines through in all that he does.

Dr. Kimberley Bugajski, O.D.

Kimberley Bugajski, O.D., has been an integral part of Kennedy Vision Health Center since January 1994. Originally from a small town in Western Wisconsin, Dr. Bugajski’s path to optometry began with her love for science. She spent three years at the University of Wisconsin-River Falls before graduating magna cum laude from the Illinois College of Optometry in 1991. After earning her degree, she gained valuable experience working for two years in a multi-clinic, multi-doctor private practice in the North Branch/Cambridge, MN area. Following her marriage, she moved to Maple Grove, MN, where she found her professional home at Kennedy Vision Health Center.

Dr. Bugajski’s dedication to optometry stems from her desire to help others and her passion for patient care. She finds joy in the one-on-one interactions with her patients and takes pride in the impact she has on their lives, from improving their vision with specialized contact lenses to managing conditions such as macular degeneration. Over the course of her career, she has embraced the advancements in optometry, which continually renew her enthusiasm for the field.

As a primary care optometrist, Dr. Bugajski is committed to educating her patients about their eye health and the latest technologies available to ensure they maintain good vision and healthy eyes throughout their lives. She frequently works with patients managing diabetes, glaucoma, and cataracts, and she coordinates care with ophthalmologists when necessary to provide comprehensive treatment.

Outside of her professional life, Dr. Bugajski resides in Maple Grove with her husband. She is the proud mother of two adult sons, one living in Wisconsin and the other in Washington. An avid outdoors enthusiast, she enjoys gardening, hiking, and snowshoeing. She is also on a mission to visit as many National Parks in the United States as possible. Staying active is important to Dr. Bugajski, and she has been practicing yoga and Zumba for many years. Additionally, she has a love for travel and looks forward to exploring new destinations in the future.

Dr. Kelsey Moore, O.D.

Dr. Kelsey Moore has been an Optometrist at Kennedy Vision Health Center since 2022. A native of Hastings, Minnesota, Dr. Moore’s educational journey began at Iowa State University, where she earned a degree in Chemical Engineering. Despite her technical background, she always felt a calling to care for patients, which led her to pursue optometry at Nova Southeastern University. Graduating with the highest clinical and scholarly honors, she served as Student Government President for the College of Optometry and President of the Beta Sigma Kappa Honors Society. Dr. Moore then completed a specialized residency in Neuro-Optometry and Pediatric Vision Development at a private practice in New Jersey in collaboration with Southern College of Optometry.

Dr. Moore’s passion for optometry is deeply personal. In first grade, she received her first pair of glasses after a teacher identified her vision issues, transforming her world and igniting an early interest in eye care. At age 10, an optometrist’s life-saving suggestion for brain imaging led to the discovery of a mass in her brain, an experience that solidified her dedication to pediatric and neuro-optometry. Today, she channels these formative experiences into providing attentive, life-changing care for her patients.

Dr. Moore’s professional accomplishments include membership in the College of Optometrists of Vision Development and the American Optometric Association. She is a certified Paragon CRT Ortho-Keratology practitioner and a certified MiSight Practitioner. Her accolades include the College of Optometrists in Vision Development Award of Excellence, the Dr. Lester E. Janoff Scholar Award, the Lombart Instruments Optometric Award, and the J. Pat Cummings Award from the American Optometric Foundation. These achievements underscore her commitment to advancing her expertise and delivering exceptional patient care.

One of Dr. Moore’s most memorable moments as an optometrist was diagnosing a patient with a pituitary adenoma after he presented with headaches and vision changes. Her accurate diagnosis and referral for imaging led to life-saving treatment, affirming her belief that she is in the profession she was meant to pursue.

Outside the office, Dr. Moore enjoys life with her husband and their two greyhounds. They love exploring hiking trails and discovering adventurous new restaurants in the Twin Cities. Her personal and professional passions reflect her dedication to enhancing lives both in and out of the clinic.

Dr. Jesse Rossow, O.D.

Jesse Rossow, O.D., is an integral member of the team at Kennedy Vision Health Center, where he brings his passion for eye care and dedication to patient well-being. Originally from Minnesota, Jesse pursued his undergraduate studies at South Dakota State University, graduating with highest honors. He went on to earn his Doctor of Optometry degree from the Michigan College of Optometry, where he graduated at the top of his class. His impressive academic journey was marked by numerous awards, including recognition for his exceptional patient care and the highest optometry board test score at his school.

Jesse’s interest in optometry stems from a lifelong fascination with the science of vision and a deep appreciation for the precious gift of sight. His personal experience of receiving his first pair of glasses left a lasting impression, inspiring him to help others achieve clear vision and maintain their ocular health. Combining his love for science and his desire to make a difference in people’s lives, Jesse finds immense fulfillment in helping patients see the world more clearly. The smiles and gratitude of those he helps affirm his choice of profession and fuel his passion for continued learning and excellence in eye care.

Professionally, Jesse is committed to delivering the highest standard of care and staying at the forefront of advancements in optometry. He is passionate about patient education and ensuring each individual feels supported and informed about their vision health.

Outside of work, Jesse resides in Rogers with his wife, who is also an optometrist, and their two young children. He treasures family time and enjoys a variety of hobbies, including playing board games (he boasts a collection of over 150!) and video games. An avid sports enthusiast, he participates in basketball, football, softball, and golf, embodying a well-rounded and active lifestyle.

Dr. Anthony Traverse, O.D.

Anthony Traverse (He/Him/His) serves as the CEO, Managing Partner, and Optometrist at Kennedy Vision Health Center, a role he has proudly held since 2012. Originally from Plainview, MN, Anthony began his academic journey at Rochester Community College before earning his undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin – Eau Claire. He pursued his passion for optometry at Pacific University in Oregon, where he completed his professional training. After graduation, Anthony returned to Maple Grove to be closer to family and to further build his career in eye care.

Anthony’s path to optometry began with a pre-med focus, but a pivotal meeting with Dr. Kennedy inspired him to shift his focus to eye care. His favorite aspect of the profession is building meaningful, long-term connections with his patients and their families, while providing comprehensive eye care. His time as an optometric technician under Dr. Kennedy solidified his passion for the field, and he thrives on the unique challenges and opportunities that each patient encounter brings.

Professionally, Anthony is deeply passionate about helping patients achieve their best vision through precise prescriptions and tailored solutions. He also has a strong commitment to managing eye diseases such as glaucoma and diabetes—both of which hold personal significance. His mother’s battle with severe glaucoma and his daughter’s experience with type 1 diabetes have shaped his dedication to providing compassionate and expert care.

Anthony is an active member of the Minnesota Optometric Association and the American Optometric Association. He has also been honored multiple times as the Best Optometrist/Eye Care Doctor by the Star News Readers Choice Awards.

Outside of work, Anthony and his wife, Kammie, are proud parents to their son Benjamin, daughters Olivia and Sophia, and their British Lab, Frank. As a family, they embrace an active lifestyle filled with outdoor sports and activities. Summers are spent enjoying watersports like skiing and surfing, while winters bring downhill skiing and snowmobiling adventures. Anthony also enjoys hunting, fishing, and cheering on his daughter during her hockey games. Together, he and Kammie share a passion for traveling and exploring new destinations.

Lindsey Durr is the Director of Operations at Kennedy Vision Health Center, bringing over 15 years of experience in the eye care industry. She began her role on June 21, 2021, and has since been instrumental in driving innovation, efficiency, and excellence in patient care.

Originally from the small town of Bangor, near La Crosse, Wisconsin, Lindsey’s career in optometry started unexpectedly with a part-time job in optical sales. What began as a simple role quickly evolved into a lifelong passion as she discovered her love for patient care, leadership, and business strategy. With a natural talent for management, she progressed through various leadership positions, gaining hands-on experience in every aspect of optometry. Today, she leads Kennedy Vision Health Center with a strong focus on strategic growth, team development, and creating an outstanding patient experience.

Additionally, Lindsey is passionate about adventure—whether hiking, traveling, or experiencing new cultures, she seeks out moments that make life rich and meaningful.
